Black Warrior Brewing pours on University Boulevard in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa, an easy walk from the Alabama campus and named for the river that gives the city its shape. The two-story taproom — brewhouse below, bar and rooftop deck above — serves a broad lineup from a crisp blonde to well-hopped IPAs and dark seasonal releases. It's the natural downtown anchor of a West Alabama beer crawl, and on game weekends it's one of the liveliest rooms in the state.
